Terms and Conditions
Website Terms of Use for doctorlane.in
These Terms govern use of the public website. Submitting an enquiry does not create a binding IT-service contract. Any paid project is governed by the proposal, statement of work, service agreement, or other written terms expressly accepted for that project.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using doctorlane.in (the “Website”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website. These Terms apply to visitors, healthcare organisations, professionals, patients, prospective clients, and any other person who accesses or communicates through the Website.
2. Who operates the Website
The Website is operated by Shubham N. as the proprietor of doctorlane.in, an India-based business located at Doctor Lane, Nanded, Maharashtra 431601, India. In these Terms, “Doctorlane,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to doctorlane.in and its proprietor.
3. Nature of Doctorlane’s services
Doctorlane provides information-technology-related services to healthcare institutions, organisations, professionals, and related businesses. The Website presents general information about those capabilities and enables visitors to submit enquiries.
Website descriptions are illustrative and may not include every technical, commercial, operational, or project-specific condition. The exact scope, deliverables, dependencies, schedule, fees, taxes, ownership, licences, warranties, support, acceptance criteria, confidentiality obligations, and liability terms for any engagement will be stated in the applicable project documents.
4. No medical or emergency services
Doctorlane is an IT service provider. The Website does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, emergency assistance, patient appointments, or doctor-patient matching.
5. Eligibility and use by minors
Anyone may browse the public Website. A person under 18 should use the contact form only with the involvement of a parent or lawful guardian. A minor cannot enter into a service contract unless permitted and validly represented under applicable law. Organisations and individuals entering a commercial engagement must have the legal capacity and authority to do so.
6. Website information and no guarantee of engagement
We try to keep Website information useful and current, but content may be incomplete, general, outdated, or affected by technical errors. Website content is provided for general information and does not constitute legal, medical, financial, cybersecurity, regulatory, procurement, or other professional advice. You should obtain appropriate professional advice for decisions requiring it.
Displaying a service, capability, case description, contact option, or availability statement does not guarantee that we will accept an enquiry, be available for a project, meet a requested schedule, achieve a particular business outcome, or provide services at a particular price.
7. Enquiries, proposals, and service contracts
The contact form, email address, telephone number, and WhatsApp button are invitations to communicate. An enquiry is not an offer, acceptance, booking, purchase, or binding commitment by either party. We may accept, decline, or request more information about any enquiry.
A binding service engagement arises only when authorised parties expressly accept the applicable written commercial terms. Unless those project documents state otherwise:
- A quotation or proposal may be revised or withdrawn before acceptance.
- Project work does not begin merely because an enquiry or informal discussion occurred.
- Changes to scope, schedule, or deliverables require written agreement.
- The project-specific agreement prevails over these Website Terms if the two conflict in relation to that engagement.
- Electronic communications and electronic acceptance may be used to form agreements where permitted by applicable law.
The Website currently has no online checkout, payment gateway, booking system, user account, or automated contract-acceptance process. Payments, if any, are handled only under separately agreed project terms.
8. Your responsibilities
When using the Website or contacting us, you agree to:
- Provide information that is accurate, lawful, and not misleading.
- Submit only information you are authorised to provide.
- Use the Website for legitimate personal or business purposes.
- Respect intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, and other rights.
- Take reasonable precautions when communicating confidential business information.
- Comply with applicable laws and these Terms.
9. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- Use the Website for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, or harmful purposes.
- Submit malware, malicious code, automated spam, excessive requests, or content intended to disrupt or compromise the Website.
- Attempt unauthorised access, vulnerability exploitation, credential attacks, data extraction, scraping that burdens the Website, or circumvention of security controls.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority, identity, affiliation, or project requirements.
- Upload or transmit patient data, medical records, passwords, payment-card data, government identifiers, or information that violates another person’s rights.
- Copy, republish, sell, license, frame, mirror, or commercially exploit substantial Website content without written permission, except as allowed by law.
- Use Doctorlane’s name, branding, or content to imply endorsement, partnership, certification, or affiliation without written approval.
10. Enquiry content and feedback
You retain ownership of information you submit. You grant Doctorlane a limited, non-exclusive permission to receive, store for the stated retention period, review, reproduce internally, and communicate that information only as reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry, assess a potential engagement, protect the Website, and comply with law. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Do not submit trade secrets or highly confidential material before suitable confidentiality terms are in place. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, receiving an enquiry does not create a fiduciary, advisory, employment, partnership, agency, exclusivity, or confidentiality relationship beyond obligations imposed by applicable privacy and other laws.
If you voluntarily provide general suggestions or feedback about the Website or our services, we may use that feedback without payment or attribution, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.
11. Intellectual property
The Website and its original text, design, layout, graphics, branding, code, interfaces, and other content are owned by or licensed to Doctorlane and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, logos, content, software, and services remain the property of their respective owners.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and view the Website for lawful informational and enquiry purposes. No ownership or broader licence is transferred. You may make reasonable personal or internal-business references to Website information, but must not remove notices, misrepresent authorship, or commercially reuse content without permission.
12. Third-party services and links
The Website may use or link to third-party services, including AWS, Cloudflare, Google Analytics, Google Maps, and WhatsApp. Third parties control their own platforms, terms, availability, and data practices. A link or integration does not mean that Doctorlane endorses every statement, product, service, or practice of that provider.
Your use of a third-party service is governed by its applicable terms and privacy notice. We are not responsible for independent third-party websites, applications, outages, modifications, content, security, or conduct, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Privacy, cookies, and communications
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, contact-form enquiries, analytics, cookies, retention, and privacy requests. By choosing email, telephone, or WhatsApp, you authorise us to respond through that channel. Standard carrier, internet, or platform charges may apply.
The Website uses a cookie-consent banner. Non-essential analytics technologies should operate only according to the consent choices presented. Rejecting optional cookies should not prevent access to the Website’s basic public content, although certain embedded features may be affected.
14. Website availability and security
We may update, modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Website for maintenance, security, operational, legal, or business reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device or browser, or that all errors will be corrected immediately.
We use HTTPS and reasonable hosting and security controls, but no website or internet transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for securing your own device, connection, accounts, and communications. Please notify us if you reasonably believe the Website is being misused or compromised.
15. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Website and its general informational content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim implied guarantees relating to uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or achievement of a particular commercial, technical, clinical, regulatory, search-ranking, revenue, or other outcome from browsing the Website.
Nothing in these Terms excludes an express warranty stated in a separately accepted service agreement or any guarantee, condition, remedy, or right that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Doctorlane will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential loss arising solely from use of or inability to use the Website, including loss of profits, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings, or data, where such loss was not a direct and reasonably foreseeable result of our breach.
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct, or another category that applicable law makes non-excludable. Project-related liability is governed by the applicable service agreement. Mandatory consumer and statutory rights remain unaffected.
17. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate Doctorlane for reasonable direct losses, liabilities, and costs arising from your unlawful use of the Website, material breach of these Terms, infringement of another person’s rights, or submission of content you were not authorised to provide. This clause does not require a consumer to indemnify us for our own negligence, breach, or unlawful conduct.
18. Restriction or termination of access
We may block, restrict, or terminate access to the Website where reasonably necessary to protect the Website or others, investigate misuse, comply with law, enforce these Terms, or respond to security threats. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination - including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and dispute terms - will continue to apply.
19. Force majeure
Doctorlane is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, epidemic or public-health events, war, civil disturbance, governmental action, internet or telecommunications failure, utility outage, cyberattack, cloud-provider disruption, labour disruption, or failure of essential third-party infrastructure. This does not excuse obligations that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting formal proceedings, you and Doctorlane should first attempt in good faith to resolve a Website-related dispute by contacting contact@doctorlane.in and allowing a reasonable opportunity for resolution.
Subject to any mandatory right to approach a consumer commission, statutory authority, or another competent forum, courts with territorial jurisdiction at Nanded, Maharashtra will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Website Terms. A separate project agreement may specify a different dispute-resolution process for that engagement.
21. General provisions
- Severability: If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue.
- No waiver: A delay or failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
- Assignment: You may not transfer rights or obligations under these Terms in a manner that prejudices Doctorlane without written consent. We may transfer the Website and these Terms as part of a lawful business transfer, subject to applicable rights and notice requirements.
- Relationship: These Terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, employment, agency, fiduciary, franchise, or exclusive relationship.
- Entire website agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the agreement governing use of the public Website. They do not replace a separately accepted service agreement.
22. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the Website, services, legal requirements, or business practices change. The revised Terms will be posted on doctorlane.in with an updated effective or “last updated” date. Changes apply prospectively from the stated date. If a change materially affects Website users, we may provide an additional Website notice where appropriate.
