2. Scope and important healthcare notice
This Policy applies to the public website at doctorlane.in, its contact form, and communications that arise from an enquiry submitted through the website.
Doctorlane is an IT service provider. The website does not provide medical consultations, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, emergency support, patient appointments, or medical advice, and it does not connect patients with doctors.

We collect only data reasonably required to receive and respond to enquiries and operate the website.

Information collected automatically
When you use the website, limited technical data may be generated by the website, AWS hosting, Cloudflare security services, Google Analytics (only where enabled with the required consent), and embedded Google Maps. This can include IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, cookie or similar identifiers, and security or diagnostic logs. We do not use this information to make medical or other sensitive inferences about you.
Data we do not intentionally collect
The website has no user accounts, document uploads, newsletter subscription, online booking, payment facility, CRM, or patient portal. We do not intentionally collect medical records, health data, payment information, government identification numbers, or login credentials through the website.
4. How we use personal data

We process personal data for lawful purposes based on your request or consent, our legitimate need to operate and secure the website and respond to your enquiry, steps taken at your request before entering into a service arrangement, and compliance with legal obligations, as applicable. Our practices are intended to align with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules made under it as their relevant provisions come into force, together with other data-protection and information-technology laws that apply to us. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
5. Contact form and communications
The website currently uses one contact form. Submitted details are temporarily processed on the website or hosting infrastructure and routed through our custom form/email system so that the owner can respond. Enquiries are not placed in a separate CRM or sold as lead data.
If you choose WhatsApp, email, or telephone, that communication is also governed by the relevant communications provider’s terms and privacy practices. Please use the channel with which you are comfortable and avoid sharing unnecessary confidential information.

Although Doctorlane intends to keep its primary enquiry records in India and does not intentionally transfer enquiry records outside India, some third-party providers may process limited technical or communications data in other jurisdictions under their own infrastructure and privacy terms. Doctorlane does not currently use advertising pixels, remarketing tags, behavioural advertising, or targeted advertising. You can accept, reject, or later change non-essential cookie choices through the website’s cookie controls. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies, although this may affect some features.
8. Retention and deletion
Contact-form enquiries and related correspondence are retained for up to three months from the last relevant interaction, after which they are deleted or securely removed from active systems, unless an earlier deletion request is validly made or a longer period is reasonably necessary to comply with law, resolve a dispute, prevent abuse, or establish or defend a legal claim.
Security and technical logs may be kept for shorter operational periods determined by system configuration and legitimate security needs. Analytics data is retained according to the configured Google Analytics retention settings and your consent choices. Data may be anonymised or aggregated so it no longer identifies an individual; such non-personal information may be retained for legitimate statistical or operational purposes.
